It looks like your group
Upload your group's logo and the app themes itself from it — colours, cover art, and icons — so it feels like home, not like rented software.
Your Youth is a mobile app for Android and iPhone that gives a Christian youth group its own private online home — chat, questions, prayer, events, and the Bible, all in one place, branded from the group's own logo and built around safeguarding from the ground up.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”1 Timothy 4:12 · KJV
A leader creates the group, uploads its logo, and hands out a join code. From there the whole group — youth, leaders, and parents — lives in one app, each with the view that's right for them.

Everyone talks together in a single group conversation — the way youth night actually works. There are no private chats between students, by design.
Youth can ask the hard questions without their name attached. The group sees the question and the leader's answer — leaders always see who asked.
Prayer requests are never posted to the group. They go straight to the leaders, who can mark them as prayed for.
Leaders post what's on; everyone sees it at a glance, and a tap on “I'm coming” lets leaders know who's in.
Reading plans and passages in the World English Bible and King James Version — both public domain, no licences, no ads — with a verse of the day on Home.
This is the idea at the heart of Your Youth. Try it: pick a look below and watch the group's home screen change — the same thing happens in the app when a leader uploads a logo. Tap “I'm coming” while you're there.
Every group gets the look its own logo asks for — colours, cover art, and icons drawn from the logo itself. A plain group with no logo yet starts with a clean, simple look until its leader is ready.
Leaders can fine-tune the result by hand, or just type what they'd like changed in plain English and see it happen.
Your Youth was designed by people who run a real youth group, for the thing that matters most: keeping young people safe while they connect. These rules are built into how the app stores its data — not just how the screens look — so they can't be switched off or wandered around.
There is no way for two students to message each other one-to-one. Every conversation happens in the open, in front of the whole group and its leaders.
Chat messages, questions, and prayer requests are screened when they're sent for things like secrecy, meeting alone, pressure for photos, bullying, and crisis signals. Anything flagged is held back from students and goes to the leaders to review — a leader decides every time.
A student under 18 can't join a group or post anything until a parent — or a leader of the group — has approved their account.
Questions appear with no name attached, so youth can ask honestly. Leaders can always see who asked — anonymous never means unsupervised.
Prayer requests go to leaders only — never to the group feed, never anywhere another student can see them.
Giving and tips are for parents and adults. Students never see a pay button, never see who gave, and tip totals are never shown anywhere in the app.
Step one is getting people in. Step two is keeping them. Your Youth is built to make both easy.
Create the group, upload its logo, and the app takes on the group's own look — colours, cover art, and all.
The leader shares one join code. Youth sign up, parents approve under-18 accounts, and the group is together.
Youth get Home, Bible, Community, and My Group. Leaders get Leader Space — safety queue, questions, prayer, events, and the group's look. Parents get their own view for approvals, notices, and giving.
Your Youth is built and run by a small team in Nova Scotia, Canada. Inside the app, parents and other adults can leave a voluntary tip — $2, $5, $10, or their own amount — to help cover the cost of building and running it.
Tips are a thank-you, not a purchase: nothing is sold in exchange for them, and giving to a group's own funds inside the app is kept separate from the tip jar. Payments aren't live yet — they're being activated now, and once they are, card payments will be processed securely by Stripe and Your Youth will never see or store your card number. Tip totals are never displayed in the app.

Your Youth is in active development, being readied for beta testing with its first group, SoulFire Youth in Nova Scotia, ahead of release on the App Store and Google Play.

Christian youth groups first — the youth in them, their leaders, and their parents. Any youth group can create its own branded home; the app's Bible content and reading plans are part of the package.
Android and iPhone. One app, built for both.
No — and that's deliberate. There is one group chat that leaders can see, anonymous questions that leaders can trace, and prayer requests that only leaders receive. Private one-to-one messaging between students doesn't exist in Your Youth.
The World English Bible (WEB) and the King James Version (KJV). Both are public domain, so they're free for every group with no licensing limits.
A leader creates the group in the app, uploads the group's logo, and shares the join code with the group. Write to youth@cbckc.ca if you'd like to talk about bringing your group on.

Your Youth (“we”, “the app”) is a mobile app that gives youth groups a private online home. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. If anything here is unclear, contact us at youth@cbckc.ca.
Some things never leave the phone: saved verses, reading progress, and private reflections in the Bible section are stored only on the device.
Account and group information is used only to run the app: signing you in, showing your groups their content, delivering it live to members, and letting leaders care for their group. We do not sell personal information, and the app contains no advertising and no advertising trackers.
Chat messages, questions, and prayer requests are screened automatically when sent, looking for patterns connected to secrecy, meeting alone, pressure for photos, bullying, threats, and crisis signals. Content that matches is held so other students don't see it, and is shown to the group's leaders, who decide what happens next. Screening exists to support leaders; a flag is a prompt for a leader to review, never a conclusion about a person.
Your Youth is made for youth groups, so young people are its main users — with their parents in the picture, not out of it. A student under 18 cannot join a group or post until a parent or guardian (or a leader of the group) approves their account. Parents can ask us at any time what information their child has shared and ask for it to be removed.
Account and group data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the United States) and media such as group logos in its storage service. Bible passages are fetched from bible-api.com when a passage is opened and cached on the device. Payments, once activated, will be handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
You can ask us to correct or delete your account and its content at any time by emailing youth@cbckc.ca. Leaders can remove members from their groups, and any member can leave a group. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and note the new date above.
